  I have worked at the Friendship House since 1987 and as the Executive Director since 1995

• Since taking over we have averaged employing 30-40 people a year. Bringing over a million dollars in salary to the community annually.
• My primary role is to look at the big picture and figure out how to be successful with the team I have.
• We identify and set up programs based on need and develop a proposal with a workplan and I look for funding sources to approach.
• I negotiate contracts and deal with the Federal, Provincial  and local Govt Reps I figure out how we can work together.
• I work with a board of directors and we have over the past few have worked on governance which we look at what our role is and who does what.
